Lizzer Blog

Lizzer featured on go2web20.net

Wikipedia defines Web 2.0 as “services that encapsulate the idea of the proliferation of interconnectivity and interactivity of web-delivered content”, which really is Lizzer in a nutshell… a somewhat grandiloquent nutshell.   That being said, our team was extremely excited to see that Lizzer was featured on Go2web20.net, a comprehensive directory of Web 2.0 applications and services.  You’ll find over 2,000 products on this site that have been analyzed and cataloged for easy reference.  We’re a fan of the graphic interface and tagging system.   But we warn you - it can be quite addicting… like another web 2.0 repository we know.

We think Lizzer embodies the best of Web 2.0 and  hope our users explore Go2Web20.net and adopt even more web-based applications and services.   Let us know if you have any favorites - we’re always looking for new content service providers for Lizzer.

Lizzer makes its way to the land down under

¿Hace usted lizzer?

Faites-vous lizzer?

Do you Lizzer?

Yes, we used it as a verb (like Google), but now that Lizzer has an international presence, we think the little green guy can take his liberties.  Lizzer has fans in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and now Australia, and we’re looking for feedback from our international  users - comments, stories, gushing reviews, etc.   So tell us, how has Lizzer helped you?
Our goal is to have Lizzer on every continent, so if you know anyone in Africa or Antarctica that would benefit from using the Lizzer bookmarklet tool, let us know.   We can pitch it in any language.

Lizzer Beta Launch

After months of development tweaks we are now ready to launch Lizzer beta (and this cool new site).  We have added several new content services, fixed some minor bugs, and made it much lighter on its feet -  to speed up all of your linking/embedding. We appreciate all of your Alpha feedback and encourage all of you Lizzer users to keep it coming for the Beta version! Please send all comments, suggestions, stories, and ideas to support@lizzer.com.

Beta will launch soon.

Keep your mouse near the refresh button as the beta version of lizzer will arrive soon. We’ve been working hard on the feedback you’ve provided and expect you will be happy with the results.

Lizzer Featured on Feedmyapp

Our most recent post noted that we were featured on wwwhatsnew.com, a Brazilian Web 2.0 blog, and recently we added yet another country to our list with Lizzer being featured on the Italian  Feedmyapp Web 2.0 blog. The blog is managed by Extendi, a web design/development agency in Florence, Italy.  North America, South America, Asia and now Europe have been checked off Lizzer’s list. We are hoping to have Lizzer used in all 7 continents by 2010 so be sure to forward Lizzer on to your fellow bloggers in Australia, Africa, and Antarctica…

Embebe En Tu Web Lo Que Quieras!

We are not exactly sure what this means, but we are extremely excited to see that Lizzer is featured on wwwhatsnew.com, a Brazilian Web 2.0 blog viewed by more than 1 million visitors each month.  Regardless of the country you live in or language you speak, the inconvenience of finding and embeding links when publishing content is universal.  We are pleased to see our tool being used all across the world and look forward to getting some international feedback!

Lizzer Named Top 10 Hot Bookmarklets by Mashable

We are excited to announce that Lizzer was named in Mashable.com’s  “10 Hot Bookmarklets That Put Plugins To Rest.” Mashable.com is the world’s largest social network blog and receives more than 5 million page views every month.

“Links are what make the Web as incredible as it is. No question about it. So why not empower Web users with a superfast method to search for and establish links with sites and services and individual webpages that can help enrich their own publications. Lizzer does exactly that. If you’re a prolific blogger and you copy and paste hyperlinks from your journeys online with so much regularity that it really becomes a tiresome practice, this will take the edge off. You might even say it’s a godsend.”

Lizzer is Born.

The team at feed growth! and digital scientists developed Lizzer in part to help with the linking and content embedding required for the maintenance of this site. We’re not solving some problem that we dreamed up - we’re solving one that we experience every day. Our goal, simply put, is to create a free tool that makes adding links and embedding content easier.  We want to make it easier for you to reach your own creative potential, when you blog, send email, or really when you publish anything on the web. With that in mind, we want to make sure that we get your input and encourage you to email your thoughts and suggestions to feedback@lizzer.com.
